We use reach stackers for container handling at our terminals and depots. They comply with the applicable emissions regulations and are equipped with particulate filters and SCR exhaust aftertreatment (AdBlue). Engine insulation reduces noise levels. The maximum speed of the machines is limited during operation. This enhances safety and reduces fuel consumption and wear and tear.

At the terminals in Nuremberg (CDN) and Regensburg (CTR), we refuel the reach stackers with HVO100. This diesel substitute is produced from residual and waste materials. According to our supplier’s sustainability certification, it produces lower greenhouse gas emissions over its entire life cycle than fossil diesel. When burned in the engine, it produces a similar amount of CO₂ as diesel.
